What’s your psychological type?

36 paired statements across the four MBTI dichotomies. In each one, pick the statement that sounds more like you. A few minutes is all it takes.

Nothing is stored. No email address, no account, nothing sent anywhere: the test runs entirely in your browser and the result disappears when you close the page. Write it down if you want to keep it.

Which statement is closer to you?

Pick the sentence closest to you.

Why a forced-choice test?

Unlike most online MBTI tests, which ask you to rate how much you agree with a statement, this one asks you to choose between two statements at every step. That constraint stops people from agreeing with everything out of politeness — it forces a real comparison between two genuine tendencies.

The result isn’t a clinical diagnosis or a value judgement — it’s a snapshot of your natural preferences at a given moment, one that can shift with context.

Important note: this is not the official MBTI assessment. It’s a discovery-style test on psychological types, and it does not replace the genuine MBTI instrument published by Myers-Briggs. Cadran also offers and recommends that official assessment, for a certified evaluation and an in-depth debrief of your profile.
