In his 1928 book Emotions of Normal People, Marston devised a model through which DISC personality types can be evaluated. Our test is based on this model and is designed to evaluate the DISC personality objectively. The DISC tests can also be offered alongside other management courses and training that we offer. What is the DISC profile?
DISC profiles are personality profiles generated by a DISC assessment. DISC Assessments are an assessment criterion formulated by Australian psychologist Dr. William Moulton Marston. Even through Moulton did not curate any DISC tests by himself at the time, he set guidelines that influenced the formulation of DISC assessments.
What does a DiSC profile tell you?
DISC profiles are reports that summarize the overall personality of an individual based on a variety of factors. They evaluate how a person is likely to perform their duties. It also determines at crucial personality areas such as decision-making styles, motivation, leadership skills and communication skills.

Where you can get a DISC Assessment
Since Dr. William Moulton Marston devised the DISC test, various researchers and groups have formulated their own DISC assessments to test and analyze personalities and individual behavior such as the John Wiley & Sons DISC test. The style, quality and accuracy of each online DISC assesment, however, varies greatly from site to site. Moreover, some of these tests are offered for free while others require a fee to generate DISC profile reports.

What a DISC Assessment is
A DISC assessment is a test used to identifies the personality of an individual and categorize them into any of the four DISC personality types; Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness.
Dominance
Dominant persons are direct to the point, love challenges, and derive pleasure from accomplishing objectives. Dominance creates self confidence in an individual and enables them to see the bigger picture.
Influence
Influence is a personality type for people who like influencing and persuading others. They embody personal traits such as enthusiasm, optimism, willingness to collaborate, and a dislike for being ignored. People with this DISC personality type are usually good team players.
Steadiness
Steadiness emphasis on cooperation, dependability, and sincerity. This personality type is characteristic of people who are calm, supportive, and methodical in their problem-solving approach.
Conscientiousness
Conscientious people are more concerned with precision, accuracy, and competence They are high performance individuals who are obsessed with detail and reason objectively.
